In 2016 I was invited to take part in ASSITEJ’s Next Generation programme 2016, bringing together 20 emerging artists from around the world at On the Edge festival of Theatre for Young Audiences, for a week of shows, workshops, symposia and networking.
I have extensive experience running workshops for children, young people and adults in community and educational environments.
I previously worked as an actor for 10 years. Companies I performed with include Nottingham Playhouse, The Unicorn Theatre, Red Earth, Proteus Theatre Company and The Play House (Birmingham). I also worked as a children’s TV presenter and performed corporate role play.

Artistic Director of Can’t Sit Still
- Founded on graduation from Circomedia on 2013.
- Can’t Sit Still creates playful and socially engaged physical and circus theatre for family audiences.
- I lead the artistic and strategic activity of the company, including writing plans, budgets and funding applications.
Part time tutor at Circomedia, Centre for Contemporary Circus with Physical Theatre, Bristol.
- I teach physical theatre, devising and creative movement on the btec and degree courses.
- I am a module coordinator on the degree programmes.
- I direct the annual showcase of third year work, which goes on national tour to professional venues.
Freelance producer of circus and outdoor arts
- I am currently the company producer for PanGottic, working on their portfolio of international touring work.
- I am an associate at Theatre Bristol, regularly writing the widely read ebulletin. I previously worked on the European Leonardo and PASS projects, aimed at developing Contemporary Circus and Outdoor Arts.
- I previously worked at Devizes Outdoor Celebratory Arts as Outdoor Arts manager, before leaving to have a baby at the end of 2014.
